Picnic Dance 2026 – Marian Anderson

Now that the clocks have changed and we’ve held our spring dance, our thoughts turn to summer dancing. This year we are delighted to welcome Marian Anderson and her band back to the Glen Pavilion stage on Wednesday 24th of June at 7:30pm for the 2026 Picnic Dance.

We are supporting Dunfermline Foodbank again this year. Please consider bringing a donation for the foodbank in lieu of the usual raffle. Last year we were able to donate £369 plus a car load of food which were gratefully received by the foodbank. You can check the foodbank website to see which items are currently in short supply. Donations are entirely optional, but the last few years have demonstrated just how generous Scottish Country Dancers can be and we’re sure you’ll support us again this year!

The entry cost is £10 at the door (£5 for students and young dancers).
