The Picnic Dance 2024 – James Coutts

It’s officially summer time and the programme for the 2024 picnic dance on Wednesday 24th June is now available. We can’t guarantee the weather for the picnic, but we’re sure to have some fantastic music from James Coutts and his band.

The dance will be held in the Glen Pavilion with dancing from 7:30pm. We will be supporting Dunfermline Foodbank again this year. Please consider bringing a donation for the foodbank in lieu of the usual raffle. The foodbank were delighted with your response last year when we manage to hand over £190 in cash and a car-load of foodbank donations. You can check out the foodbank website to see what items are currently in short supply. Donations are entirely optional, but last year’s response demonstrated just how generous Scottish Country Dancers can be!

Entry costs £10 at the door, we don’t sell tickets in advance so it’s always a wee bit stressful until the hall starts to fill & we know that we will be able to support our chosen charity!
