We started running monthly technique classes 2004, when we first invited some of Scotland’s best known teachers to help us improve our knowledge of dance and dances. In 2023, we decided to switch the focus towards more challenging or unusual dances.

This  Advanced Class is open to anyone with an understanding of SCD steps / formations.

Classes run on the last Sunday of the month from September until March each year. For details of dates, teachers and musicians, see our class dates page.
