Sadly Missed

Janette McSporran passed away on 1 March 2021. A long-serving Branch committee member and President, Janette’s encyclopaedic memory for dances and tunes, her unending knowledge of Branch history and most of all, her warmth and welcome to anyone who graced our dance floor, will be much missed when we return to classes.

Nick Fair, husband of Chris Fair, sadly passed away on 25 January 2021. Nick was an active member of the Branch, dancing in local demonstrations and in the Edinburgh Tattoo. He also supported and taught the Saturday morning Children’s Class for many years, attending dances and balls with the class members.
