Winter Classes
The branch runs a general class in the Dell Farquharson Centre, Netherton Broad Street, on Monday evenings from 7:30pm-9:30pm. This class is suitable for dancers who have a grasp of SCD steps and formations. Ian Gent will be providing live music again this winter.
An introductory/improvers class runs from 7:30pm-8:30pm, also on Monday evenings in the Dell Farquharson Centre. This class is suitable for complete beginners or for "returning" dancers who would like to boost their confidence before joining the general class for the second half of the evening.
Classes are taught on a rota basis by the qualified branch teachers to ensure a variety of different teaching styles and dances. This winter the general and introductory classes will be taught by Alison Austin and Amy Drysdale in term 1.
- Term 1: Monday 5th September 2011 until Monday 12th December 2011
- Term 2: Monday 9th January 2012 until Monday 26th March 2012
- Spring classes: Monday 9th April 2012 until Monday 28th May 2012
